R600,000 - R800,000 p.a. CTC + commission

Salary: R600,000 – R800,000 per annum CTC, plus commission (negotiable, based on experience)
Overview
Our client, a well-established national telecommunications retail group, is looking for two strong-willed, strategic and operationally focused Regional Managers. Each Regional Manager will lead a team of five Area Managers and be accountable for the performance of 20–23 stores in their region, driving revenue growth, operational excellence and compliance. This is an urgent appointment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive regional revenue growth and ensure every store in the region performs to target
- Lead, coach and performance-manage five Area Managers and, through them, the store teams
- Set regional strategy and translate it into clear operational plans
- Operational excellence: store standards, stock and cash control, staffing and regular store visits
- Performance management through regular reporting, KPIs and action plans for under-performing stores
- Compliance with brand standards, RICA, FICA, POPIA, credit-vetting rules and labour legislation
- Identify local growth opportunities and monitor competitor activity
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
- 5+ years’ experience in a strong telecommunications background – mobile network, telecoms retail or telecoms channel environment
- Proven track record of regional sales, performance and revenue growth across multiple stores
- Experience managing Area Managers or multi-site teams across a wide geographical area
- Strong leadership, operational, performance and compliance management
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence; extensive travel within the region
