Process Engineers are typically responsible for:
- Process optimisation, yield and throughput
- Process design, modifications and scale-up
- Mass and energy balances and process simulation
- Process safety and hazard studies (for example HAZOP)
- Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Supporting capital projects and commissioning
What We Assess
We assess the processes a candidate has worked on (continuous, batch, hydrometallurgical and so on), measurable improvements, process safety experience, simulation tools, plant versus design experience, and professional registration where relevant.
